Rather than focusing on individual residences, Estero is conceived as a cohesive whole, a place where living and gathering are naturally intertwined.
The architecture is defined by a sculptural composition of horizontal volumes and vertical columns, with rounded balconies and deep overhangs that create a soft interplay of light and shadow through out the day.
A restrained material palette of sand-toned chukum and custom rosa morada elements connects the building to its desert surroundings, creating a calm and tactile atmosphere shaped by light, texture and proportion.
At its core, Estero is designed around a sense of connection. The roof top functions as a shared extension of the building, offering views over the city and ocean, while at street level Gamba activates the ground floor as a café and community space, forming a natural meeting point for residents and the wider neighborhood.
